Walking and Ponds for Inspiration

This week I have been uploading my products and categorising and sorting my work so it makes sense — onto my new website. Two new products are inspired by local walks here in Somerset and walking to our allotment. These are both a great way of slowing downand reconnecting with nature. Also in my fabric design I hope to transfer some of the calming energy.

Pond life is painted using watercolours and we recently inherited a new piece of allotment that has another pond. Sometimes I just sit and watch pond life in action! Shop Pond Life Fat Quarter Cotton Poplin.

Meadow Flowers fabric features photographs of cow parsley which I am forever photographing. Using this as my backdrop I added some drawings of flowers for a mixed media feel. Shop Meadow Flowers.
